Camp
Supposed to be a troubled child, and only at the age of seven, Lilly stepped out of the car with her backpack and Twilight book in hand, she made her way onto the camp grounds. Waiting for her were a bunch of older, much, much older kids, who stared at her oddly. The counseler, Mr.Horn, was also looking at her strangely. The car already was speeding off down the bumby road and Lily's eyes narrowed. She listened to what Mr.Horn had to say, before going to her cabin, which she shared with two fifteen year old boys named Ty and Eric.
They were mean to her, yet, curious as to how she ended up here in the first place. All the same though, they picked on her since she was the youngest. They had no idea what she was!
"So, what's your name?" Ty asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Lilly Angelfang." She had made a last name for herself, a mix of both halves. 'Fang' for her half vampire side. And 'angel' for her half angel side.
"Why are you here anyway? You're only seven." Lilly frowned.
"I'm smart for my age, okay? I'm here because the staff at the orphanage think i'm a troubled kid! Well, i'm not. It's not my fault I end up dream drawing in my sleep." The two boys tilted their heads to one side. "Draw what I see in my dream while being half asleep, half awake. Like, I look awake, yet my mind, my sight, everything else is in a dream." The boys made an 'o' shape with their mouths.
"Can we see one of your drawings?" Eric asked. Lilly just nodded.
She reached into her backpack and pulled out a notebook.
"I've been drawing in this."
Lilly turned to a page where a drawing of a battlefeild laid. She started to flip through pages, and it showed the battle going on, soldiers dying, her mother and father, and herself, standing behind the good soldiers in fear, wide eyed horror. Her father running out and into the battle, mother following in attempt to stop him. Both dying, her mother in a pool of blood, her father lying motionless, bullet wounds, yet no blood. The drawings even had color, again, very detailed. It looked as if you were watching a realistic scene from a movie.
"Woah." Both boys said, amazed at the seven year old's drawings and as to how they could be that detailed in the first place.
"Nice. Isn't that the battle in Egypt five hundred years ago? A father ran out into the battle, followed by what seemed to be his wife?" Eric asked, not beliving what he just saw. Lilly closed the notebook before another comment could be made. She placed the book back into her backpack, and heard the blaring noise signaling it was time for dinner.

For dinner, there was only one thing i'd eat out of the food there. Pizza. Maybe it was the red sause, reminding me of blood. Or the cheese. Well, whatever it was, it was awesome. Most of the kids in the cafeteria stared, glared at me, or whispered about me. I didn't care. Sitting at a table far away from the others, I ate my food, and read a section of the Twilight book that I had. Of course, the vampires in this book weren't real. Vampires do NOt sparkle. Some aspects are true though. Like the granite hard skin, super speed and strength. They can get more than one gift though, up to three at most. And they can be the same, as long as the two people, or vampires, were twins. Vampires are able to sleep, some perfer not to.
That night, Lilly felt as though something was ging to happen. Something bad. Hmph. She'd have to sleep on alert this time, or not sleep at all. As if not sleeping affected her.
