Kyoko strutted through the town's walkways. She was very bored, and couldn't wait to play a good trick on someone. She was getting a few stares because she was dressed so elegantly, but she was in her human form. Today she was actually in a japanese kimono, which is very unusual for Egypt. They all probably thought she was a magician, of a high class as well. Alas, Kyoko was not a magician. She was just a bored-out-of-her-mind Djinni, whom happened upon the famous japanese style. She wished something interesting would happen soon...

Alexandria was sitting on the ground with her hair in her face half a sleep. She saw some woman with dressy clothe on and other rich snobby magicain she sighed and closed her eyes.

Whats it like to wake up in a morgue?
Kaja cracked an eye open. It was blindingly light. The sun shone down on her. She sat up, straight as a bolt, bewildered. Sand crusted in her hair, palm tree leaves covered her, she as covered in insect bites. A crowd of people in black surrounded her. A few had tears streaming down their faces. She recognized her parents, a few friends and some snobby relatives she had heard of and seen pictures of but never really met.
At the rustling of the leaves and the whispering sound of the sand falling from her clothes a few of them looked up. Their expressions looked disbelieving and then shocked. A toddler looked up at her with curious eyes. She tugged on the sleeve of her mother who was sniffling and wiping at her eyes with a black handkerchief.
Her mother looked up. Her expression was more explicit than others'. Kaja saw mistrust in it. She probably thought Kaja was a freakin' djinni. She screamed. Everyone looked up, staring at first her then Kaja. Kaja smirked, hopped off of the platform and wondered aloud boldly. "What did I miss?"
---------
She was on the streets now. Apparently a magician had hit her with some sort of spell that made her seem as if she was dead. And she had woken up moments before they would lower her into her grave.
Her stomach growled, reminding her why she was out here. She walked forward casually, inspecting a few street-side venders' foods. They eyed her suspiciously. By the time she had hit her fifth, and most crowded, stand, she was nauseous with hunger. Time to make her move.
She ducked down, folding herself in elegantly. She crouched down there at the other peoples' feet, waiting for the moment...
There! She snapped up, snatched a bundle of bright orange papayas and bolted down the street. There was a raucous shouting behind her but she was long gone.
Her strong legs carried her to a well known spot. By the Nile. Under a bunch of palm trees. She plopped down on the grainy sand, ignoring it completely. She offered some fruit to her neighbor, Alexandria. "Hey Alexandria! Want some papayas?" She tossed two of the ripe foods at her and leaned back, her spine against a huge palm tree.
Her eyes narrowed as she saw the Japanese woman walking daintily along the roadside, looking at the people around her as if they were to be treated with less respect than dirt.
She reached into her long white tunic, rummaging about in her pockets. She pulled out a minor elemental sphere. She turned to her neighbor and muttered in her ear, completely forgetting about the fruits, "As soon as I give the word, run like the wind,"
She turned back to the woman. She could see past the fake guise. She could see it in her cold black eyes. There was no life there. She could feel it in her bones. That was no magician. It was a djinni.
In any case, the sphere wouldn't do much damage. It was packed with only a few foilots. She shouted "RUN!" without looking at Alexandria and muttered the Latin incantation before chucking it at the demon and sprinting away, towards the Nile.
..Scary as heck, thats what its like,

Kyoko had been watching the two commoners from the corner of her eye. She had been looking for some new 'friends' to 'play' with, and when she noticed one pull out a magicians object, she knew that they were the ones. She waited for the girl to throw it, and once she did, it had actually exploded! She wasn't expecting that, but the girl had actually known the correct words! When the sphere hit her, she turned into an agile, brown tabby kitten. She followed the girl, planning revenge. On plains one-five she was the brown kit, but looking on plains six and seven she was a giant cat, walking on all fours, a blue and yellow colored mixture.
((Wow! Rebel you are really good at this!))

Alexandria ran with Kaja and started to laugh "What was that for??" but she still laughed it was funny. She had know Kaja for along time and even though she lived on the streets she was still a teenager. She didn't consider herself a Adult just yet. She ran as fast as her little legs would run but she turn around to see that woman turn it a cat. Oh no she thought. She started to run faster and caught up to Kaja.

You may think that throwing elemental orbs around is for idiots
Kaja smirked as she saw the djinni's bewildered face. She didn't think she knew the words. Kaja made her expression a mix of indignant and triumphant and called out towards the tabby kitten that was all that was left of the Japanese woman that had once been strolling through the streets. "I could recite the incantation in my sleep!"
With that she stuck her tongue out at her and turned on her heel, towards Alexandria. Alexandria was an age old friend. She was older than Kaja was though. When Kaja was younger she had shown her around the streets. Now, even though Alexandria was a year older than her, Kaja was still a head taller.
She answered the girl's earlier question. "That would be a djinni. THAT is what it is for."Now she turned to stare at her. So pale for an Egyptian, Alexandria was. Kaja raised a hand and looked at her skin. Dark. Must be from being in the sun all the time.
But I know better, cause you're the idiot
ooc- Thanks Kyo. Today it wasn't so good XD

((It is still good )) Kyoko kept moving. But this was no good! The kitten couldn't go fast enough! But she had the perfect move, the perfect plan. She looked back to make sure no humans were looking this way. Good, they were all still amazed at the spheres blast. The kitten looked back at the fleeing arsonists, and suddenly stopped. The kitten pushed her paw down strongly onto the ground. Suddenly the earth in front of the girls shot up into spikes to stop them in their tracks. Quickly Kyoko turned back into the human form, loosing a plain of her desgiuse, and walked towards the girls. Using her earth ability she had really worn out her powers. Fire is probably the only element she could use currently.

When the spikes came in Alexandria's way she fell back she put her hands down to help but it twisted her arm . She was not sure on what to do she saw the woman walk to them, But as Kaja said she was a djinni. She stud up not sure of what she was doing. The pain was killing her in her arm, but she wasn't going to show pain. She stared at the djinni with blank eyes, and a smile.

((Kai woke up in a morgue and ran away, meeting Alexandria near the Nile. She saw Kyoko and threw an elemental sphere at her. Kyoko dodged the sphere and made the earth spike up near Kai and Alexandria))
With a sharp yelp Kaja jumped back. Blood spurted from her nose and the gash on her arm. But her teeth were still bared and her eyes stilled sparked with fury. A rock the size of her fist had smashed into her nose and a rogue spike had pierced her fore arm.
Kaja whirled around, her long hair flying. A savage gleam entered her eye when she saw the tabby kitten. She was going to pounce on it and shove it into the earth, but it quickly changed to human form. A short curse escaped her mouth, but it was low, only she could hear it.
"Well then djinni. Give it all you got left." She challenged. Her teeth were bared in a feral grin. Her stance was low, knees bent. Her black locks slowly fell from her back to the front of her shoulders. She was ready for anything.
OOC- Jeez. That post was SUPER sucky.

Kyoko's gaze was gentle. She had no plans to kill these two commoners, but she was extremely curious. "How do you know what I am?" she asked gently, "I can tell that your not a magician." She needed a good rest after transforming the Earth, but she was careful to hide her weakness. The girl seemed willing to fight and, depending on what tricks she had, that commoner may make a good show.
{{lol sorry I didin't explain, but Rebel's explanation was much better than mine would have been! And your a good writer Rebel, what sucks to you rocks to others ^_^ }}

Kaja returned her question with a gaze of pure hatred. "I know because I was trained. And because of your eyes. They are dead an cold. Nothing like real people's." Her voice was nothing but a snarl, and it barely hinted at her true feelings. Why was the djinni being so...so...kind? It truly didn't make sense.
She suddenly regretted her harsh words. She turned to Alexandria, looking for her reaction. Then she turned back to the djinni. "Look...I'm sorry for being rude. Its just that I find that many of your kind are rather unpleasant towards commoners like us." She gave a wide random gesture, avoiding the spirit.

Alexandria arm still hurt like heck and when Kaja said she was sorry to the djinni. She sat down knowing that she was problay wasn't going to die. She held her arm so it would not be that much pain. She nodded curtly to the djinni.

Kyoko carefully walked forward a few steps. "Some of us are different. The more magicians try to tame us, the more we hate others. But, You said you were trained?" she answered, "I was pretty sure commoners wern't allowed to learn magic." The demon sighed, maybe she wasn't a commoner? But she did seem like one... Suddenly her eyes caught site of the other girl, there was a wound on her arm. "Whoops, I did that, didn't I?" Kyoko asked. She felt horrible, she had never ment to hurt anyone. SHe was just angry, annoyed, and curious.
